Abstract
It is shown that n,l-state selective electron capture cross sections derived from observation of VUV emission lines for C4+-H2 collisions by Bliman et al. (1983) are incorrect because of inadequate evaluation of experimental results. The corrected data are compared with the author's own measurements and remaining discrepancies are explained.Keywords
