Abstract
It has been shown that lithium‐initiated copolymerization of styrene and methyl methacrylate yields an unusual copolymer since it contains appreciable quantities of styrene. The probable nature of this copolymer is discussed, and it is suggested that lithium may act as an electron exchange type of initiator. Keywords
