Abstract
The two-potential coherent approach of Hayashi and Kuchitsu (1976) (in which multiple scattering within the molecule is allowed) is applied to calculate elastic differential, integral and momentum transfer cross sections for e-CO2 scattering at 50, 70, 90, 300, 400 and 500 eV. Agreement with experiment is very good at all energies. Keywords
