Miliaria and Anhidrosis

Abstract
A technique for inducing miliaria and anhidrosis over extensive areas was developed which closely approximates the natural events in the induction of clinical miliaria and the incidence and severity observed in the field. Clinical anhidrosis follows a single bout of experimental miliaria and can persist up to 21 days. This model permits the study of both local and systemic phenomena associated with miliaria and anhidrosis including their influence upon man''s ability to withstand heat stress.
