Abstract
For decades, experts have been calling for solutions to the problems associated with the specification of system requirements. Despite significant progress, the paradox remains that advances in the state-of-the-art technology are not engendering parallel advances in software technology. This article establishes a framework for evaluating various requirement specification techniques to help systems analysts select the appropriate method. Keywords
