Abstract
A hippuran renogram pattern of the type usually interpreted as indicating urinary tract obstruction was seen in acute tubular necrosis and was present both in the oliguric and in the diuretic phase. It seems that in acute renal failure the renogram does not distinguish urinary tract obstruction from intrinsic renal disease. Keywords
