Abstract
Measurements of the magnetic moment of pure lead superconducting slabs in the first reversible stage and of the migration field are given and compared with two-dimensional models. The agreement is particularly good with a model recently worked out which takes into account the macroscopic properties of the intermediate state in the corners of the slab. Keywords
