Congenital syphilis after maternal treatment with erythromycin.

Abstract
A case is reported in which erythromycin was used successfully to treat maternal syphilis but failed to adequately treat the fetus. This report and similar studies suggest that oral erythromycin is not a reasonable alternative drug for the treatment of lues in the penicillin-allergic gravid female.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
