Abstract
A model for electroproduction is discussed. It is an extrapolation from the diffractive model for the hadron-hadron collisions. The principle involved in the extrapolation is the idea that coherent particles can be produced when momentum transfer between the virtual photon and the target proton can be sufficiently small. In the deep-inelastic region there are unavoidably many incoherent products. A comparison of our model with that of Chou and Yang recently proposed for electroproduction is discussed. Multiplicity and momentum distributions of the secondary hadrons are described. Keywords
