Abstract
Diphenylphosphinic carboxylic mixed anhydrides formed in situ from Nα-protected amino acids and diphenylphosphinic chloride have been critically evaluated in peptide synthesis. Wherever possible, 32.4 MHz 31P n.m.r. spectroscopy has been employed to follow the rates of both mixed anhydride formation and aminolysis. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
