Abstract

A new route to the meso-ionic 1,3,4-triazolium-2-aminides (I) is reported, yielding a number of derivatives including pairs of structural isomers of the types (I) and (II). Their physical properties and chemical reactions are discussed, including the isomerisation (I)→(II).
