Abstract
Plistophora operpphterae (Protozoa, Microsporidia, Nosematidae) is dexcribed from the salivary glands, gut epithelium, Malpighian tubules, muscles and fat body of the host; also the sporogony of Nosema ogeroghterae in the salivary glands only. Included are discussions on the modes of transmission of these parasites and on autogamy in the Microsporidia.Keywords
