The contribution of vacancy magnetic polarons to the specific heat of solid bcc 3He in the 50 mK - 1 mK temperature range is shown to account for the experimental data provided a concentration of 7 x 10-4 vacancies is present in this temperature range for a sample with 23.8 cm3/mole
