Abstract
Densities of eggs and larvae of the Colorado potato beetle ( Leptinotarsa decemlineata ) were monitored in an unrotated field of cv. Superior potatoes and one that was rotated with winter wheat. Oviposition and first appearance of larvae were substantially delayed in the rotated field. This delay was attributed to physical and environmental barriers that slow emigration from wheat by overwintering adults. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
