Abstract
This study reports the discovery of erm genes in seven species of rapidly growing mycobacteria (RGM): Mycobacterium boenickei, M. goodii, M. houstonense, M. mageritense, M. neworleansense, M. porcinum, and M. wolinskyi. This study further substantiates the role of erm genes in intrinsic macrolide resistance in RGM.Keywords
