Fast Oscillation of the Corneoretinal Potential in Ischemic Retinopathy

Abstract
Clinical electro-oculographic examinations were performed in 21 subjects with unilateral occlusion of the central retinal artery. The values from the unimpaired fellow eyes were used as normal data for statistical evaluation. The amplitudes of the slow oscillations were reduced. The fast oscillation was preserved. The slow and fast oscillations of the human corneoretinal potential may be controlled by generators in different retinal layers.
