Abstract
Three different toxins were detected in culture supernatants from 11 strains of A. hydrophila. The hemolysin and the cytotoxic factor(s) [assayed on human diploid fibroblasts] interfered in the 3 test systems [rabbit intestinal loop, rabbit skin test and mouse adrenal cell test] for enterotoxin, but they could be neutralized by heating at 56.degree. C or by specific [rabbit] antihemolysin. Keywords
