Abstract
The fate of P32-ribonucleic acid (RNA) was followed after interaction with suspended amnion cells. The adsorbed p32 RNA was reisolated together with unlabelled cellular RNA before and after incubation with pancreatic RNase. In both instances part of the RNA can be recovered from the cells with an apparently unchanged molecular weight. The experimental results favor the hypothesis that some P32-RNA molecules are selected in the first cycle of inter-action with cells so that reisolated high molecular weight P32-RNA is more readily absorbed in a second cycle. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
