Abstract
Adenosine-(3′5′)-monophosphate (cAMP) has been reported to reverse the inhibition by caffeine of dark-repair in U.V.-irradiated bacteria. We observed no such effect from cAMP, whether produced internally or added externally, on a number of bacterial strains and under a number of experimental conditions. Keywords
