Abstract
Palliative care is still a new concept in Hong Kong. Limited resources mean it will be several years before the first hospice is established and initially, palliative care services need to be established within hospitals. Although death and dying are still taboo subjects amongst the Chinese, the commitment to palliative care is growing.Keywords
