Abstract
This review is concerned principally with the area of brain-behavior relationships; an attempt is made to review research in this area with respect to the significance it may have for consideration of psychological deficit more generally. It includes discussions of significant developments in animal research, problems with respect to independent variables, problems with respect to dependent variables, studies of deficit in children, clinical evaluation of general effects of brain damage, psychological deficit in brain damage and schizophrenia, and differential effects of lateralized abd localized cerebral lesions.
