Abstract
The relation of skin temperature and blood flow in the rabbit ear may be expressed as (See PDF for Equation) where Ts is skin temperature, F is peripheral blood flow, TR is rectal temperature, Tr is room temperature, and K1, K2, K3, and α are constants. The constants vary with ambient temperature probably reflecting the degree of precooling that occurs in the circulating blood. Keywords
