Abstract
The occurrence of a uterine-relaxing factor in pregnant and non-pregnant female rat and pregnant sow ovaries which inhibits spontaneous uterine motility has been studied by in vivo and in vitro techniques. This substance appears to be relaxin or a closely related hormone.Keywords
