Abstract
A study is presented of a seasonal cycle observed over a period of 2 years of the fish tapeworm, P. stizostethi, found in the yellow pikeperch (walleye) from Lake Erie. Viable embryonated eggs were found only in June. The worm was not found in the fish later in the summer, and a new infection was obtained early in the fall to mature the following summer.
