Abstract
Magnetization-prepared 2DFT and 3DFT gradlent echo techniques are presented for acquisition of black blood cardiac images. Both methods incorporate RF pulses for blood saturation, centric or centric-like view ordering, data acquisition during late dlastole, and breath-holding. In a series of 13 volunteer studies, these methods have consistently provided good visuallzation of intraventricular structures. Keywords
