Abstract

Dynamic dispersion-slope compensation is accomplished using two coupled four-cavity all pass filters in a multi-reflection configuration. The dispersion-slope is adjustable between -0.37 ps/sup 3/ and -3.2 ps/sup 3/ over a 10 nm compensation bandwidth and the center wavelength is tuneable over a 10 nm range by adjustment of the input angle.
