Screening effects on the electronic states of an atom embedded in laser-imploded plasmas

Abstract
A detailed study of the electronic structure of the screened potential due to a charged impurity embedded in an electron plasma as a function of temperature and density is reported. These results are compared with other model calculations and the significance of the authors' results are discussed.Keywords
