Abstract
The dissociation or atomization energies of the following aluminium sulphides, selenides and tellurides were determined to be (in kJ mol–1): D°0(AlS)= 370±8; D°0(AlSe)= 334±10; D°0(AlTe)= 264±10 D°0,at(Al2S)= 709±13; D°0,at(Al2Se)= 666±19; D°0,at(Al2Te)= 536±17 D°0,at(Al2S2)= 1127±26; D°0,at(Al2Se2)= 1043±25; D°0,at(Al2 Te2)⩽870±27 In addition the dissociation or atomization energies of the following gaseous molecules were determined: D°0(Al2)= 172±18, D°0(AlCu)= 207±15, D°0,at(AlCuS)= 651±20 and D0,at(AlCuS2)= 1044±29 kJ mol–1.Keywords
