Abstract
A system is described for the continuous recording of vehicle headway, suitable for use in most types of vehicle. It has the distinct advantages of being robust, reliable, does not involve any connection with a lead vehicle and the driver need not be aware that his vehicle-following performance is under investigation. Keywords
