Abstract
The Dirac Hamiltonian in the presence of instanton and meron fields is studied. Some three-dimensional, zero-energy, normalizable solutions are found. They are related to the four-dimensional zero modes which are known and to the level-crossing picture. A geometrical interpretation of the simplicity of the results is given. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
