Abstract

We present three calculations of the absolute branching ratio for

D_{s}^{+} \to φ π^{+}

. The average of the three results is

B (D_{s}^{+} \to φ π^{+}) = (3.6 \pm 0.6) %

. We also derive an upper limit of

B (D_{s}^{+} \to φ π^{+}) < 4.8 %

(90% C.L.)based only on experimentally measured relative branching fractions.
