The energy loss of correlated protons in channelling

Abstract
The angular average of the energy loss of h2+ ions channelled through thin crystals is obtained, for incident energies in the mev range. The results show an important contribution to the energy loss coming from the correlated interaction of the protons with the valence electrons.Keywords
