Abstract
At a meeting in Atlantic City, June 24, 1973, the AHEA Board of Directors approved the creation of a policy board for the Home Economics Research Journal. Appointments to the policy board were made in fall, 1973, and included persons from the content and publication‐circulation arms of the Research Journal operation to provide clear communica tion channels at the decision‐making level between the two. This article introduces readers to the policy board, its functions and composition. It also details responsibility and authority of other persons and units directly involved with the Research Journal and portrays the decision routes and interaction channels in its production.
