Immunization of Adult Hens against Infectious Bursal Disease Virus

Abstract

The results of a trial with a limited number of birds suggests that adult birds can be immunized against IBDV [infectious bursal disease virus] by i.m. or s.c. inoculation; oral administration effectiveness is apparently dubious.
