Abstract
1,3-Butadiene was selectively hydrogenated to cis-2-butene by cobalt(I)-bipyridyl complexes. The order of the addition of butadiene to cobalt complexes determined the distribution of products. The catalytic activity was affected by the bipyridyl/cobalt ratio and halide anions. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
