Abstract
The procedures are based on the [alpha]-naphthol and diazotised sulphanilic acid methods respectively. The modifications ensure consistent color development without stringent precautions in the addition of reagents, the colors are stable and the reactions, particularly in a soln. of the bases themselves, are reasonably specific, so that a high degree of accuracy is attained. The Pulfrich photometer is used to estimate the intensity of color and the arginine and histidine are found from standard curves. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
