Abstract
Phospholipids were present in all subcellular fractions. The highest phospholipid-protein ratio was found in the membranes and the lowest in the soluble fraction. The phospholipid distribution was similar in whole platelets and in each of the fractions. An increased amount of saturated fatty acids (C16–28) was present in PE and PC in the membrane fractions and an increased amount of unsaturated fatty acids (C20–22) was present in the granular fraction. Keywords
