Abstract
The Aeromedicai Research Laboratory at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, has pioneered in maintaining and breeding chimpanzees for medical experimentation. Using improved husbandry techniques, a most successful chimpanzee breeding colony has been developed. A relatively small breeding group produced 50 pregnancies during 1966-1971. It is expected that the colony will continue to produce eight to ten offspring per year. Keywords
