Abstract
The purpose of this manuscript is to consider interactions between transgenic (TG) plants and biogeochemical cycles, with an emphasis on how microorganisms involved in soil nutrient cycles may be influenced by transgenic plant gene products. We have also attempted to identify research areas considered a priority to fill existing information requirements on use of TG plants in the environment.Keywords
