Abstract
Angular distributions of produced in the reaction + → + have been measured at a center-of-mass energy of 36 MeV. Data were taken for the reactions (, ) and (, ) in order to cover the complete angular range (). The angular distributions are symmetric about and closely follow a dependence. This is interpreted as indicating that the reaction proceeds primarily through compound-nucleus formation.
