Abstract
Proteolytically inactive protein was obtained from an acid extract of fresh cattle pancreas. The protein was changed into active trypsin by allowing it to stand in the form of a suspension in conc. (NH4) 2SO4 or MgSO4 at pH 7.0-8.0. The activation followed the course of an autocatalytic reaction. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
