Abstract
Scaling laws for the nonlinear system-generated electromagnetic pulse (SGEMP) problem are defined and resulting implications for theory and experiments are explored. The scaling laws are used to present calculations in a scaled format which permits display of responses to a wide range of variations in fluence, spectrum, pulse width, and characteristic dimension. Interesting trends in the solutions as a function of these excitation parameters are noted and discussed. Keywords
