Abstract
A theory is presented for the low-temperature phonon-drag thermopower in a semiconductor heterojunction in a strong magnetic field. Gigantic quantum oscillations (much larger than electron-diffusion contributions) are obtained. The temperature and field dependences of agree well with recent data. Localized states yield flat valleys for the ‖‖ minima in agreement with the data.
