THE USE OF DEMORALIZED FREEZE-DRIED BONE AND NONRESORBABLE HYDROXYAPATITE IN THE TREATMENT OF BUCCAL DEHISCENCES AROUND IMPLANTS

Abstract
A mixture of equal parts of demineralized freeze-dried human cortical bone and nonresorbable porous hydroxyapatite was used in conjunction with expanded polytetrafluoroethylene membrane to promote deposition of bone in buccal dehiscences around dental implants. Two case studies are presented.
