Abstract
Manganese cadmium tellurides are ternary compounds belonging to the family of so-called semimagnetic semiconductors. We present results of Raman scattering by two magnon for concentrations 0.4<x<0.68 in the temperature range 2 K<T< 90 K. At 2 K we observe a structure in the Raman spectra at low energy. This band shifts toward the low energy side when the temperature increases and disappears completely inside the Rayleigh line. The Ising cluster model permits us to obtain the spectral shape of the Raman scattered light. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
