Abstract
The dissociation constants of some 2- and 6-mercaptopyrimidine derivatives with amino or hydroxy substituents are reported. The constants have been determined at 25° C in 0.1 M KCl aqueous solution. The multiwavelength spectrophotometric data obtained have been 3mlyzed by means of the SQUAD program (Stability Quotients from Absorbance Data). Keywords
