Abstract
The initial uptake of adenine from plasma by human red blood cells was measured at 0, 10 and 20.degree. C. Initial uptake is completed in several minutes as distribution equilibrium is reached; total uptake requires several weeks at 4.degree. C. Adenine inside the red blood cell egressed to the plasma if the equilibrium shifted due to plasma dilution or exchange. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
