Surviving and Spurious Yukawa Couplings in the Skyrmion Model

Abstract

Arguments are given against the validity of surviving Yukawa couplings which come from the breaking of the equations of motion for a rotating Skyrmion, and of spurious Born terms of order N_c which come from the inadequate application of the reduction formula to a meson-soliton scattering amplitude, N_c being the number of colors.
