Experimental Study of the (d,He3) Reaction on Even-AIsotopes of Mo

Abstract
The (d, He3) reactions on Mo92,94,96,98 and the Mo92(He3, d) reaction were studied with 23-MeV deuterons and 34-MeV He3 particles from the Argonne cyclotron. Experimental angular distributions were analyzed on the basis of the distorted-wave Born-approximation theory to determine the l values and spectroscopic factors. Results were compared with previous data and the shell-model predictions. Experimental strengths of the g92 and p12 components in the ground state of Mo92 are consistent with the calculations. Very low-lying states with large p32 and f52 strength were observed.
