Abstract
The (, ) reactions on and the reaction were studied with 23-MeV deuterons and 34-MeV particles from the Argonne cyclotron. Experimental angular distributions were analyzed on the basis of the distorted-wave Born-approximation theory to determine the values and spectroscopic factors. Results were compared with previous data and the shell-model predictions. Experimental strengths of the and components in the ground state of are consistent with the calculations. Very low-lying states with large and strength were observed.
