Abstract
Reaction of N‐substituted‐3‐aroylpropionamides with excess thionyl chloride was found to give sulfur‐nitrogen heterocyclic compounds, which were characterized as 2‐substituted‐5‐aroyl‐3‐(2H)isothiazolones.Keywords
